Global Fusion

Fuzia began in 2012 as a writing club in California. It’s founder, Riya Sinha, authored her first published book titled “Runaway Twins” at the age of 11 and made an appearance for a reading in her community. A younger child walked up to her and expressed the amount of inspiration they received to pursue their own dreams at an early age because of Riya. From that moment, Riya made the decision to found Fuzia. Fuzia’s goal is to empower creative women through fusion of culture and ideas. The writing club has grown into an internet based group with a total reach of 3 million plus women.

It was originally restricted to a small group of people but the team quickly realized they should endeavor to inspire creativity for women of all ages, not specifically teens. They know that the world is full of women who have dreams and passion to express in many forms from writing and photography to so much more. Within a couple of years they revamped Fuzia to become a platform where women from all around the globe can come together to receive encouragement and motivation as they showcase their talents.

The co-founder, Shraddha Varma, shared that they have definitely experienced moments where they felt that their efforts were not bringing growth. They felt things weren’t moving along as they had hoped. Their team never gave up. They focused on the intent and mission of what they set out to do. “Once you believe in your idea and yourself, half of the battle is already done,” said Shraddha Varma. The Fuzia team believed that they were going to make their mark in the world and learned to discover new ways to obtain engagement and followers. The team loves to connect with the users for feedback to find out what they like, don’t like, what they need, and get to know them.

Fuzia is not just a product, it’s an experience and the experience has played an important role for the involvement of everyone who follows and joins. The team is currently working on ways to improve the experience for its audience. They have launched a Fuzia app available on playstore and appstore. They also have a virtual workspace through their website titled Fuzia Internships. Through the workspace users can learn about opportunities to be compensated for their creative expressions.

The editor was was raised as a pastor’s daughter in the city of Chicago and now resides in southern Illinois and is married to a minister. Don’t mistake her roles as a preacher’s kid (p.k.) and a preacher’s wife (p.k.) as a lack for awareness for what happens in the life of the average woman. She has had acquaintances and friendships over the years with women from all walks of life and the one thing that she has had in common with them all is her faith. Through those relationships she learned that everyone has moments of doubt, discouragement and even triumphs. The key is to have a connection to other believers so they can encourage each other through the ups and downs of life. That is what inspired her to create Nouveau Exposure Magazine. She has purposed to find other believers with testimonies of success after struggle, dreams coming to fruition by applying faith and action as well as lessons on self love. email address: SharondaCawthon@nouveauexposure.org
